My Story

Hello and Welcome! I’m Carine Camara a Healer, Licensed Acupuncturist, Avrigo® Maya Abdominal Therapist, and Wellness Coach, specializing in women’s and men’s sexual and reproductive care. I’m passionate about helping you improve your quality of life, so that you can focus on fulfilling your goals and, if desired, growing your family.

As a partner on your healing journey, I have a very personal approach to my practice. Depending on what is needed in the moment, I utilize several distinct modalities and alternative techniques so that each session is unique, powerful, and effective.

Since my graduation from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I have been working side-by-side with acupuncture masters such as Heather Bruce (The Gentling Way) and Dr. Mikio Sankey (esoteric acupuncture) to enhance my practice and give my patients the best care they deserve. In this way, I myself never stop healing, growing, and thriving.

Carine is a fantastic acupuncturist. I had a history of preeclampsia and saw several acupuncturists through my pregnancy in the hope of avoiding it again but developed hypertension at 31 weeks. Then I started seeing Carine. She helped maintain my health so it never progressed beyond mild hypertension. My OB wanted to induce me at 37 weeks so Carine induced me with acupuncture – just one session and I went into labor. My OB was so impressed she asked me for Carine’s information!
